  1. Sabrina,
You have inspired me. I love this idea! Love it! I may even do the same but with my own list, of course. I am on summer break right now, so I have time to write out a thoughtful list. Or at least I will once I am done preparing for the next school year. I am re-vamping my spelling program - yes, I finally had to let the one go that your class piloted. I loved it and had great success with it, but the books were just worn out. I'll let you know when I post my blog. Did I ever tell you that I have a bread blog? Check it out: itsallaboutthebread.blogspot.com. About 200 other bread bakers and I committed to baking every recipe in Peter Reinhart's great book, The Bread Baker's Apprentice. Not everyone finished, but I did. Forty-three different recipes over the course of a year and a half. It was great. I learned so much, even though I have been baking bread for 40 years. In fact, I fell in love with one of the breads and have been making it as my everyday bread ever since. It's the Poilane-style miche, which happens to be on the cover of the book. Matthew took the picture that is posted in my blog. It is just like that cover. Hmmmmm ... now which 99? : )

    1. So cool! I didn't even know you were a bread baker! Just checked out the blog. Super cool and inspiring. Good luck revamping spelling...I know how long teacher prep in the summer takes! I would love to follow your blog if you decide to do your own 99. When I made mine I searched Google for "99 in 999 blogs" and enjoyed reading other people's lists to get ideas.
