By day I teach college classes and work on graduate coursework in instructional design. By night and weekend, I explore the world around me. I'm a California native and a Utah transplant, still figuring out where I'm going next.
I collect musical instruments, and can play most of them. Although I always want to buy more before I've mastered any. I enjoy reading in the bathtub (dystopian novels, Harry Potter fan fiction, and health books as of late). I listen to podcasts (Stuff You Should Know, 99% Invisible, Connexions Classroom) while I cook and garden. I like genealogy and geology. I speak Spanish and Portuguese, and a tiny bit of Arabic. I want to go #alltheplaces and do #allthethings.
My friend Tiffany introduced me to the 99 goals in 999 days blog idea. For each goal you complete, you donate a dollar to charity.
