Goal #72 Try 100 new recipes (23/100): Strawberries and Cream Biscuits

Today I had a very merry unbirthday party for three friends whose birthdays it was not. Two had half-birthdays earlier in the month (and when you have an August birthday you just don't get to celebrate it much!), and one who doesn't get a birthday this year (you guessed it--her birthday is on Feb 29th). To celebrate, we had afternoon tea. And it was lovely.

We had just bought scones and English muffins, so I wasn't even planning on making something, but this Pinterest page was SO alluring that I had to try something. And then I saw Strawberries and Cream Biscuits (recipe here). My search was over. It HAD to happen. And it was a beautiful thing.

This recipe earns a very enthusiastic 4.5/5 stars. They were just a tad too soft--not flakey--to get a 5.
